Alexander House

Alexander House and Utopia Spa is set in 170 acres of private gardens and park lands in an idyllic part of the Sussex countryside. Mark has been the recommended photographer for over five years and has an excellent working relationship with the staff. He has photographed numerous wedding and events there and has a great understanding of where the best places to take photographs are

Despite its close proximity to Gatwick Airport, the hotel is an oasis of peace and quiet, nestled among 15 acres of mature gardens with a 250-year-old Monkey Puzzle Tree and a conifer planted by the late Queen Mother.

Lower Garden Alexander House

With wisteria, rhododendrons and roses, the beautiful manicured gardens and surrounding grounds are a delight to explore and are home to a wide variety of birds, resident rabbits, squirrels and our family of deer.

With tastefully designed, luxurious bedrooms, a two AA Rosette restaurant and award winning Utopia Spa, Alexander House is ideal for weddings.

With award winning, manicured gardens and romantic, private terraces, the property can cater to weddings of all sizes, from an intimate ceremony among a handful of friends, to large scale celebrations of up to 100 guests.

From a photographers point of view Alexander House is an excellent place for wedding photography. There are plenty of opportunities for photography (both indoors and outdoors)

Ceremonies can be held in the more traditional library or the bright, airy and modern Wakehurst and Shelley Suite depending on the size of your wedding party.

Eltham Palace

Set within tranquil moated gardens, Eltham Palace boasts a unique mix of medieval and art deco styles, making it one of London’s most unusual and exceptional venues.

Grounds of Eltham Palace

The childhood home of Henry VIII, Eltham Palace was once an important royal palace, though only the magnificent medieval Great Hall remains today.

In the 1930s, it was chosen by society millionaires Stephen and Virginia Courtauld as the location for their imaginative and innovative art deco mansion. The most influential designers of the period created a series of elegant rooms, reminiscent of Hollywood-style glamour. They also cleverly incorporated the surviving Great Hall.

Combining Art Deco and ocean liner style, Eltham Palace is a stunning masterpiece of twentieth-century design.

Bridge to the grounds Eltham Palace

Mark has been one of the preferred suppliers to Eltham Palace for nearly six years and knows the venue extremely well. He has photographed numerous weddings there and makes full use of the grounds surrounding the Palace when photographing weddings as well as using the interior to its full potential.

It’s an absolutely stunning venue and really superb location for wedding photography definitely one of our favourites!
