PHOTOGRAPHS NOW ONLINE

This years WPPI convention is being held slightly earlier than normal as well as being held at a new venue – the MGM Las Vegas.

To allow us to get to Moab, Utah we flew out on Monday the 9th February, which gave us four days to photograph the State and National parks in the surrounding area before heading back down to Las Vegas for the convention. I’ll try and blog each day we are here, but in some places there’s no mobile signal let alone internet!

I’ll post some photos when we get back!! – Well there all there now

WEDNESDAY 25TH

We left Kingman around 10.30am and started the 100 mile drive back to Las Vegas for our flight back to the UK. As we had plenty of time we followed Route 66 for a bit, before heading up to Chloride, another “Ghost town” along to the Hoover Dam. The traffic across the dam is pretty slow and the road works building the bypass just slowed things up even more. We arrived at McCarren International airport around 2.00pm, dropped off the hire car (no dramas this time) and was through check in and customs in no time. Just an eleven hour flight to go now!

During the second half post Vegas trip we clocked up another 2120 miles (even more than the first half) in just six days. This gives us a total of around 4,000 miles for the whole trip!

TUESDAY 24TH

Photographed an excellent sunrise this morning – then made our way down the Apache Trail. The 44 mile track took us around 4 hours to cover – not because of the difficulty of the road (it’s no Shaffer trail!) but because there was so many opportunities to photograph along the way.

Tracy Ann & Paul Saturday 31st January St Dominics Church & Oaks Farm

Friday, February 6th, 2009

Tracy Ann and Paul were married this Saturday at St Dominics Church.

Mark and Graham photographed thier wedding celebrations and luckily they managed to miss the impending snow storms that ground the South East to a halt!

Despite the chilly conditions they produced some lovely images of Tracy Ann and Paul at the Oaks Farm

Congratulations to Tracy Ann and Paul
