Brides to Be sessions

Wednesday, March 21st, 2007

Last week we shot a whole day of our increasingly popular brides to be sessions. This time we used the Alexander House Spa and Hotel West Sussex as the location for the shoots.

The Spa boasts three pools all with their unique features, all waiting to be discovered or pamper yourself and relax in our changing suites, each with its own steam room, sauna and monsoon showers. A subterranean setting of the pools with their stone columns and domed ceilings are truly what a spa is all about – water and relaxation.

For our shoots we used one of the deluxe Spa suites which are located directly above the spa. The photographs from the days shoot were great and we have had some brilliant feed back from all those involved.

We will not be posting any photographs from the shoots here – but if you’d like book in for our next Brides to be day or you would like some more information or would like to see some of the bridal books, just contact the studio – but don’t leave it too long as these day book up very quickly!

Toni & Guy competition shoot

Wednesday, March 14th, 2007

Last week we had a bit of variety in the studio as we were asked to shoot some photographs for Toni & Guy Knightsbridge – who were entering a Wella colouring competition.

Here’s a few pictures of what we came up with.

The background colours and accesories were chooen to complement the hair colouring.

Control of lighting is very important with these types of shoots.

No retouching is allowed, so these photographs are “straight” out of the camera.

Good luck with the competition girls !

Alexander House open day 25th February 2007

Friday, March 2nd, 2007

Last Sunday, Mark was invited to attend the Alexander House Hotel & Spa
open day.

View of Alexander House

Alexander House Hotel & Spa is a 17th century mansion set in 170 acres of grounds in rural Sussex. It has been home to some of England’s most famous families including that of the poet Shelley.

The Main House is a beautifully kept 17th Century Mansion set in 170 acres of stunning gardens and parklands, including the rose garden and a conifer tree planted by the late HRH The Queen Mother.

Mark is the recommeded photographer for Alexander House and the picture below show our”stand” for the day – we would normally use our “gallery style” display for events such as this, however due to space constraints we were limited to our table setup. (more…)
