Alan & Joanne 25th July 2008 Worth Church - Alexander House
Monday, July 28th, 2008Mark and Denise photographed the bridal party prior to thier departure at the Alexander House Hotel & Spa.
Alan and Joanne were married this Friday at Worth Church which is of Saxon origin, and parts of it probably date to between 950 and 1050 AD. After the Norman conquest of England in 1066, the church was given by William the Conqueror to his son-in-law, William de Warrenne, whose coat of arms is still visible in the stained glass windows of the church.
The reception was also held at the Alexander House Hotel & Spa which is set on 170 acres of stunning private gardens and parkland, Alexander House is both a boutique retreat and an unsurpassed destination spa in the heart of the Sussex countryside.
